This course is focused on delineating the critical roles and responsibilities of both standard security officers and proprietary security officers. It emphasizes that the primary role of a security officer is to PROTECT people and property on behalf of their employer.
The course distinctly outlines a security officer’s responsibilities in different scenarios. Before the occurrence of an incident or offense, the emphasis is on PREVENTION – employing strategies and measures to avert potential threats or incidents. During or after an incident or offense, the focus shifts to OBSERVE and REPORT – accurately documenting events and providing detailed accounts to the appropriate authorities or stakeholders.
